Join us for a volunteer training workshop on May 5, 9:00-4:00, at Pearson Hall on the Museum of Northern Arizona research campus.
This workshop will prepare volunteers for upcoming field trips to assess the condition of springs in Coconino and Kaibab National Forest. This project is a collaboration led by Dr. Abe Springer of Northern Arizona University, in partnership with Grand Canyon Wildlands Council, Grand Canyon Trust, and the Springs Stewardship Institute, funded by the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. Volunteers will play a crucial role in gathering needed assessment data to prioritize restoration efforts. Call Grand Canyon Wildlands Council at (928) 556-9306, email us, or click here to sign up.
